Project Manager and Coach
Seth Fritsch received a BS in Business Administration from Northern Arizona University and a Master of Public Health degree from the University of Arizona. After working for nearly a decade in Human Resources in the private sector, he changed his career focus by joining the U.S. Peace Corps. For more than 2½ years, Seth served as a volunteer in western Ukraine accompanying local government, non-government organizations, and community members to build more equitable systems and develop effective leaders. Together, they designed several systems to achieve better health outcomes.
Soon after returning to his home in Arizona, Seth devoted 6 years to public service for Maricopa County Department of Public Health, the 4th most populous public health system in the nation. There he refined system design and cross-sector collaborative skills using a racial equity lens and learned the importance of bringing people who are marginalized to the center of the work. During this time, he joined the 100 Million Healthier Lives movement, further developing his ability to facilitate equitable systems change.
Seth is now applying his international and local community transformation experiences as a Project Manager and Coach with Well-being and Equity in the World. Seth believes that to improve intergenerational wellbeing and equity in our communities, we must first acknowledge our legacy of racism and understand the role that interpersonal, institutional, and structural racism play in creating disparities. As a core member of the Racial Equity Learning and Action Community (RELAC) and co-designing the WE WIN Together Racial Justice Community, Seth is focused on supporting communities by offering tools for self-care, creating positive change in relationships, and methods for navigating structural systems to achieve racial equity.
