What WE Do

Develop Frameworks and Tools

We co-develop and help people adapt frameworks and tools that change how we think and act to improve health, well-being and equity.  We also build the capability of other major organizations, networks and communities to apply these tools to their own work and teach others.  We do this to substantially accelerate impact and make change easier and more sustainable.  A few examples of these are below.

Well-being In the Nation (WIN) Measures

  • The WIN Measures is the first set of national measures for improving health, equity, and vital conditions.

  • These measures are applicable across sectors and initiatives.

  • 100+ organizations and communities created these common measures with support from the National Committee on Vital and Health Statistics.

  • Together with our partners, we are supporting 100's of organizations, states, and communities to adopt the WIN measures.

  • We are also supporting the integration into Healthy People 2030 and other major national initiatives.

WE in the World stewards this set of multi-sector measures for improving well-being and equity and are implementing a racial justice and intergenerational lens for these measures in 2021.

Our Role

Communities of Solutions

  • Community of Solutions contains a framework and tools to help communities create change.

  • This toolkit shifts how people relate to each other and how they can build a positive spiral of equitable transformation.

  • 105+ communities have used this toolkit in the 100MLives SCALE initiative.

  • These are also available online through our Community Health Accelerators Initiative.

WE in the World are supporting the integration of these tools in communities, networks and states across the world, such as the National 4H Council, the School of the Nations in Guyana, and many more.

Our Role

Pathways to Population Health

  • Pathways to Population Health (P2PH) is a strategic framework for organizations to equitably improve the health and well-being of people and places.

  • 250+ health care organizations have used Pathways to Population Health (P2PH) through 100MLives.

  • Sectors currently using P2PH include public health, business, social services, and faith communities.

WE in the World is using the Pathways to Population Health framework and tools in our demonstration projects in Texas and Rhode Island across sectors to improve well-being for all. We are working to adapt P2PH to additional sectors.

Our Role

WIN Theory of Change

Have you ever wondered...

  • How do legacies of dignity and inclusion vs trauma and exclusion relate to the quality of life?

  • How can people have access to the vital conditions they need to thrive?

  • What would it take to shift these legacies so all could reach their full health and life potential?

  • Learn more about the WIN Theory of Change and these vital conditions below.

In our support for the WIN Network, we uplift the WIN Theory of Change as a framework in creating cycles of thriving and inclusion in place of cycles of adversity and exclusion.

Our Role

Our Role

Partnering with People with Lived Experience

  • This toolkit helps you build capacity in engaging people with lived experience.

  • Improving equity requires recognizing the ability of all people to create change.

  • Community residents are empowered to be part of designing, implementing, and evaluating change.

WE in the World applies this framework from the 100MLives SCALE initiative in our work for the inclusion and role of people with lived experience in system transformation.

Our Role

A CEO Blueprint for Racial Equity

  • Developed by PolicyLink, FSG, JUST Capital, and Living Cities

  • This blueprint guides organizations and businesses in analyzing their impact on racial equity.

The blueprint provides actions in three key domains.

1) Inside the company

2) Within the communities where the companies are headquartered and conduct business

3) At the broader societal level

WE in the World supports the usage of the CEO Blueprint for Racial Equity as a tool in advancing our mission of dismantling systemic racism to improve the well-being and equity of all people.
